MY LIP BALM STORY

Are any of you a fan of lip balm like me? I guess yes, right? I’m a person who likes to use lip balm to nourish and moisturise my lips in both morning and night. It is the very first step that you should apply before lipstick, otherwise, your lips might get chapped. Some of them contain UV protection to prepare your lips to fight with the sunlight. And some of them also have colours for making your lips look plumper and refreshing. So, today I decided to show you almost all of my lip care collection and let’s see which one is my favourite!

1. YVES ROCHER Nourishing Lip Balm: Spicy Vanilla (left)

• Vanilla scent (smells really good!)
• Colourless
• Can use both in the morning and at night
• Recommend for those who adore a vanilla scent like me!

2. YVES ROCHER Nourishing Lip Balm: Strawberry (right)

• Strawberry scent
• Sheer red colour (not pigmented)

 

3. CANMAKE Stay-On Balm Rouge (left)

• Contains SPF11 PA+
• Use only in the morning
• Many colours to choose!
• Sheer tint colour (pigmented)
• One of my favourites, really recommend for coloured lip balm!

4. Maybelline Baby Lips Candy Wow: Orange (right)

• Sheer tint colour (pigmented)
• Wide range of colours to choose
• Can use only in the morning

 

5. CANMAKE Day&Night Lip Serum (left)

• Non-silicone
• Can be used anytime during the day and night
• Colourless

6. CANMAKE Day&UV Lip Serum (middle)

• Non-silicone
• Has a little bit of sheer colour
• UV protection SPF14 PA+
• Use only in the morning

7. CANDY DOLL Moisture Lip Treatment (right)

• Smells really gooooooood!
• Best for both morning and night (or anytime you prefer)
• Colourless
• One of my favourites (I really like the scent of it)

 

8. NIVEA Lip Butter Original (left)

• So creamy!
• Colourless
• No scent
• Can use both in the morning and at night (but I prefer at night since it’s very creamy)

9. Carmex (right)

• Cooling your lips
• Great for Summer
• Smells like mentholated ointment
• Can be used anytime

 

10. EOS Lip Balm

• Each of them has different scents
• Wide range of scents (and packaging colours) to choose
• Can be applied anytime you prefer
• Smells so good
• And tastes really good as well (seriously lol)
• The pink one is my all time favourite! Love everything about this lip balm. Scent, taste, formula, everything! (probably the most favourite in my collection)

As you guys can see, there are plenty of affordable lip balms out there which work really great on hydrating. Actually, I didn’t use all of it. But what I like to do is to put each of them in each of my bags. So whenever I decide to change the bag, I can still have one of the lip balms on my bag. It’s really needy if my lips got cracked on that day. Lip balm is like a medicine that can cure and revive my lips to be alive. By all means, I didn’t over claim, but it’s really important since there are some people who do not like to use lip balms and their lips just bleeding. Besides taking care of your skin, please do not forget to take care of your lips as well!
